Vacuum packaging bag varieties, how to choose the right vacuum packaging materials

Vacuum packaging bags from the barrier performance can be divided into non-barrier vacuum bags, medium-barrier vacuum bags and high-barrier vacuum bags; from the functional division, can be divided into low-temperature vacuum bags, high-temperature vacuum bags, puncture-resistant vacuum bags, shrink bags, stand-up pouches and zipper bags.
In the face of a variety of packaging materials and different product characteristics, how to choose the right vacuum packaging materials has become the actual production application must be resolved.
How to choose vacuum packaging bags for different types of products?
Because different products have different requirements for packaging materials, so we have to make material selection according to the product characteristics, including: whether it is easy to deteriorate, factors leading to deterioration (light, water or oxygen, etc.), product form, product surface hardness, storage conditions, sterilization temperature, etc. A good vacuum bag, not necessarily with many features, but to see if it is suitable for the product.
1. Product with regular shape or soft surface.
For products with regular shape or soft surface, such as meat sausage products, soy products, etc., it is not necessary to require high mechanical strength of the material, you only need to consider the barrier of the material and the impact of sterilization temperature on the material. Therefore, for such products, the general use of OPA / PE structure of the bag. If the need for high-temperature sterilization (more than 100 ℃), can be used OPA / CPP structure, or the use of high-temperature resistant PE as a heat sealing layer.
2. Products with high surface hardness.
Such products as meat products with bones, due to the high surface hardness and hard protrusions, easy to puncture the bag in the process of vacuum and transport, so the bags of these products need to have good puncture resistance and buffering performance, you can choose PET/PA/PE or OPET/OPA/CPP material vacuum bags. If the weight of the product is less than 500g, you can try to use OPA/OPA/PE structure of the bag, this bag has a good product adaptability, better vacuum effect, while not changing the shape of the product.
3. Perishable products.
Low-temperature meat products and other products that are prone to spoilage and require low-temperature sterilization of the strength of the bag is not high, but requires excellent barrier properties, so you can choose pure co-extruded film, such as PA/PE/EVOH/PA/PE structure of the film, you can also use dry compounding, such as PA/PE film, you can also use K coating material. High-temperature products can be used PVDC shrink bags or dry bags.
Suitable for vacuum packaging characteristics of each material.
1. PE is suitable for low-temperature use, RCPP is suitable for high-temperature steaming use.
2. PA is to increase the physical strength, with puncture resistance.
3. AL aluminum foil can increase the barrier performance and shade the light.
4. PET can increase the mechanical strength and good stiffness.
